Since my battery is relocated to my trunk, Brian recommended that I run a separate power/ground lead from the battery to avoid any inductance/voltage spike issues associated with the starter circuit. This detailed technical guidance is available from the website, and Brian rides herd on issues like this to help the end user avoid making an error in judgment. I routed the carefully insulated hot wire through the passenger compartment under the carpet, and into the engine compartment.

With my cold air “box” right next to the fans/radiator, I decided to mount the dcCurrent controller on the fender liner underneath the air filter. This location allows the controller to stay in a steady stream of the coolest air possible.
